Idan was born in Israel in 1980. He grew up in Kibbutz Ramot Menashe located in the north of Israel.
1998-2001 serving in the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) as a paramedic in a rescue unit. During this time, he was a direct witness to the destructive conflict between Israel and Palestine and started to question many issues regarding the conflict and life itself.
2005-2008 starting his career as a professional photographer while traveling in Asia. Most of his previous work was made with an analogic 6x6 Rolleiflex camera, using traditional methods. His work has been exhibited in Barcelona, Spain, at the Hartmann Gallery, Paspartu Gallery and in several public places around the city. Idan’s work is known for its poetic beauty and elegance.

2008-2014 Idan dedicate most of his time to study and deliver one-on-one sessions of a psychotherapy discipline called The Grinberg Method. The aim of this work is to teach through the body to recognize and stop unnecessary efforts and limiting patterns of behavior.
During this time he explores other disciplines that seek to expand ones awareness and to gain a better state of wellbeing and personal freedom.
With this professional knowledge, understanding of the human nature and his love for photography he initiates his actual project: LAND a journey of self-discovery and beauty through the landscapes of Israel.
Idan currently lives in Barcelona, Spain

In the year 2011 he won the “PBN people’s choice award in traveling category” for his self-published book “Along the River” –
a spiritual photographic quest in India.
